•April 9 (held primarily for Spanish-speaking families with interpretation throughout the evening, but English-speakers may still attend to obtain information)
--Catholic Multicultural Center, 5256 Verona Rd. (off Anton Dr. next to Chalet Ski & Patio); 6:00-7:30pm
CHILD CARE will be offered.

•April 16 (held primarily for English-speaking families, but Spanish speakers may attend and utilize interpretation equipment)
--Performing Arts Center at Verona Area High School; 6:00-7:30pm

CHILD CARE will also be offered at this presentation.

March 15, 2018:
Badger Ridge Middle School, 7pm: Board held a Community Listening Session to talk about school safety and security of the new design.

2017 Past Community Events:

Community Update - Dec. 5, 2017 - High School Performing Arts Center

This event shared a 45-minute presentation by the architect and construction team, followed by various stations set up that community members could visit to share their specific questions. Stations included:
•Architects (Eppstein Uhen Architects – EUA)
•Construction Manager (Findorff)
•Aquatics consultant team regarding the new aquatics area of the high school (Water Tech)
•Performing Arts Center (PAC) consultant regarding the PAC of the new high school (Schuler Shook)
•VASD’s Owners Representative, Huffman Facility Development, Inc. who represents the district in all aspects of design and construction

-----The VASD board held two informal "chat sessions" for the community to drop in and share any questions they had on new amenities being added to the Building for 2020 scope of projects (click here for details). 
•Sept. 7, Sow's Ear Coffee Shop, 7am-9am in large classroom
•Sept. 10, Fitchburg Library, 1pm-3pm in upstairs community room 

-----The district held two summer community events, welcoming nearly 100 community and staff members to meet the Visionary Design Team, view schematic building designs, and share input!

•Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 6-7:30 PM at Badger Ridge Middle School 
•Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 6-7:30 PM at Glacier Edge Elementary Library (for Spanish-speaking families with English interpretation offered.)
