Mr. Richardson's "Leadership and Character Development" class sends nearly 30 high school students to Glacier Edge and Badger Ridge twice a month teaching elementary and middle school students about the characteristics of being a good leader.
Glacier Edge teacher, Mr. Rammer, shares that the kids truly look up to these high schoolers as mentors, so it's a win-win as the high schoolers also claim, "it's interesting to see what the kids' perspective is when we talk about things that make a person a good leader and a good human being."
The high school students actually coordinate a lesson for each of the two sessions each month, then rotate the elementary students into different groups to learn various elements of their lessons.
