Web Help Desk

Web Help Desk is a new system that VASD employees will use to request tickets for technical support and to make Copy Center Requests. All staff are asked to use Web Help Desk. It provides an efficient means to communicate issues, an equitable approach to provide access to tech support, and it assists the Technology Department in identifying trends in technical issues.

The easiest way to submit a ticket is to use the feature called Ticket to Email.
To use this feature:

*Open your email and compose a new message

*Enter a Subject

*Enter a description of what you need

*Click Send

You will receive an email confirmation that the ticket was received. When you get it, you may click the link to log into Web Help Desk and see the status of your ticket. You may also add more notes, or cancel your ticket directly from the email.

You may also go to Staff Quicklinks to log into Web Help Desk directly, or look for the link on OKTA.

Web Help Desk is also a very efficient way to submit requests to the Copy Center. All you need to do is select Copy Center from the Request Type.

You will then see all the options you need to provide more specific detail about your Copy Center Request. Don't forget to attach your PDF file, and click SAVE! (Please Note: You need to convert your Copy Center Requests to PDF before attaching them).
